United Overseas Insurance's Attributable Profit Declines 10% in H2 2024

United Overseas Insurance's (SGX:U13) profit attributable to equity holders declined 10% to SG$15.6 million in the second half of 2024, from SG$17.3 million a year earlier, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Friday.

Earnings per share dropped to SG$0.5106 compared with SG$0.5663 in the comparable period.

Insurance revenue increased 30% year on year to SG$62.5 million from SG$48.0 million, mainly due to business optimization and transformative initiatives.

In addition, the company's directors recommend the payment of a final dividend of SG$0.085 per share and a special dividend of SG$0.06 per share for 2024.
