HONG KONG, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Shares of Tencent 0700.HK were set to open up 6.6% on Monday after the company said its Weixin messaging app has launched beta testing with Deepseek as firms race to link up with China's rising artificial intelligence start-up.
Tencent shares were set to open at HK$506, their highest since July 2021. The blue chip Hang Seng Index .HSI gains 0.6% and Hang Seng Tech Index .HSTECH rises 1.3%
