Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) said shareholders can purchase a company-embossed one-ounce gold coin to celebrate the start of gold production at its Paulsens Gold Operation, in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The "Cat Coin," crafted from Black Cat's first gold at Paulsens in partnership with ABC Refinery, features the Black Cat logo and ABC Refinery stamp, the filing said.

Shareholders with a registered address in Australia as of Feb. 21, can apply for the coin, priced at the prevailing spot price of gold, the filing added.

The coins are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with applications due by Mar. 7, the company said.

Shares of the company fell 3% in recent Monday trade.
