New Hope's (ASX:NHC) run-of-mine coal production rose 5% to 4.2 million tonnes in the quarter ended Jan. 31, from 4 million tonnes in the previous quarter, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Saleable coal production of 2.7 million tonnes was in line with last quarter, the miner said in the filing.
Coal sales volume fell 4% to 2.6 million tonnes from 2.8 million tonnes, the filing added.
For the fiscal year ended June 30, the mining firm maintains its previous run-of-mine coal production guidance of 15.5 million to 17 million tonnes, saleable coal production guidance of 10.8 million to 11.9 million tonnes, and coal sales guidance of 10.7 million to 11.8 million tonnes, as per the filing.
