智通财经APP讯，马可数字科技(01942)发布公告，内容有关公司与华通证券国际有限公司订立谅解备忘录。公司与华通证券已申请成立一间合营企业，名为马可华通科技发展有限公司(MW Technology Development Limited)。彼等于合营企业的股权分别为60%及40%。
合营企业之目的为合作开发数字货币金融证券交易柜台。随着合规港元稳定币推出势在必行，人工智能行业迅速发展，且华通证券已获批针对Virtual Assets虚拟资产的经营范围升级(简称“VA升级”)，基于双方各自优势结合，该柜台交易系统将成为数字货币金融证券交易结算的必备工具，将以未来世界web3的互动体验呈现“AI数字机器人”应用人工智能方式辅助下单、交易及结算。
华通证券获得VA升级许可，意味着华通证券在满足特定条件下，可在香港合法合规地提供与虚拟资产相关的交易服务，而满足条件的专业投资者则可以直接、便利地在华通证券平台上交易虚拟资产。因此与华通证券的合作伙伴关系，将发挥公司打造数字货币及证券交易平台的潜力，将公司定位以于金融科技格局中建立竞争优势。该等举措预期推动创新及为市场提供有价值的解决方案。
经考虑上述者，董事认为成立合营企业将有助集团的整体发展及增长，符合公司及股东的利益。
