Tian Yong, the former chairman of Yunnan Metallurgical Group, is being probed for discipline and law violations, Reuters reported Feb. 14, citing China's anti-graft regulator.
Yunnan Metallurgical is a unit of Aluminum Corp. of China (HKG:2600, SHA:601600) or Chinalco, China's biggest aluminum manufacturer.
Chinalco's Hong Kong shares dropped 4% and Shanghai shares fell over 2% at the close.
