Chevron has made changes to its senior leadership as part of a transition to a new organizational structure for its oil, products and gas business.
The Houston-based energy giant said Monday that its oil, products and gas organization will be consolidated into two segments, one focusing on upstream operations and the other focusing on downstream operations, midstream and chemicals.
Clay Neff, the current president of Chevron's international exploration and production business, was named president of the upstream segment starting July 1.
The downstream, midstream and chemicals division will continue to be led by President Andy Walz.
Chevron also said Bruce Niemeyer, who currently leads exploration and production in the Americas region, has been named president of the company's shale and tight business starting July 1.
On that same day, Ryder Booth, vice president of Chevron's mid-continent business unit, will become VP of technology, projects and execution. He will replace Balaji Krishnamurthy, who has been named president of the Australia business starting April 1.
