Cheuk Nang (Holdings) (HKG:0131) expects to record a loss of HK$40 million for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, compared with a profit of about HK$313 million in the prior year.
The company attributed the swing to loss to the absence of a one-off tax refund received in the prior year and increased finance costs due to higher interest rates.
Cheuk Nang expects to post its six-month results by Feb. 28, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
