0421 GMT - Hong Kong shares are extending gains at midday amid positive sentiment lifted by tech earnings and the recent hype about DeepSeek. Alibaba's Hong Kong-listed shares are up 13% following its strong earnings and the tech giant's long-term growth potential on AI. Tencent and Xiaomi are up 4.5% and 4.8%, respectively. China Unicom gains 12.3% and Lenovo Group is up 12.05%. Meanwhile, the top decliners include Tingyi Holding, which is down 3.1% and Sands China 2.8% lower.
