Inside the Australian-owned MAGA mecca in Washington

Washington | It is jam packed at the new favourite restaurant for MAGA’s elite on Capitol Hill that has become a mecca for conservatives since Donald Trump was elected president last year.

Former Trump adviser and right-wing firebrand Steve Bannon was hosting a party on Thursday (Friday AEDT) at the Anglo-French-style bistro spread over two floors. The Conservative Political Action Conference has been held in Washington all week, and the party is one of several drawing scores to drink, eat and network at the restaurant.
