长短剧平台之争：爱奇艺龚宇炮轰红果“排他”协议
2月20日，爱奇艺（IQ）创始人、CEO 龚宇在首届中国电视剧制作产业大会暨第十届中国（深圳）国际电视剧节目交易会上，“炮轰”红果短剧的排他协议。
龚宇表示：“保护行业健康发展，杜绝滥用市场支配地位。特别是有些平台，利用市场的主导地位，签一些排他性的协议，跟它合作，就不能跟其他平台合作。而且不是一部剧，一部剧一个产品无所谓；是这公司在协议期内，不能跟其他方，内容公司的所有内容，不能跟其他方再合作。这件事非常糟糕，是抑制这行业的发展，是微短剧行业的。大家也能猜到了，市场支配地位的，只有一个平台，红果。”
爱奇艺与红果短剧在今年1月的“精品微短剧产业发展交流会”上共同宣布双方达成深度合作，将启动IP联合开发、联合出品、成品内容授权等合作，共同推出更多精品微短剧。如今仅过了一个多月，就出现“撕破脸”的情况。
龚宇还表示，对影视行业而言，内容集数、时长规格、演员流量、投入成本、AI 和虚拍应用等微短剧行业当前遇到的问题，都不是最重要的，尊重创作规律、尊重创作者、尊重观众选择、能够合理有效控制成本、用新技术推出精品力作，“一切以观众为中心创作”才是最重要的。
QuestMobile 数据显示，红果免费短剧App在2024年12月月活用户数已飙升至1.58亿。目前，爱奇艺月活跃用户数已不再单独公布，截止2024年8月的QuestMobile数据显示，爱奇艺月活跃用户数为3.94亿。
