2 月 21 日，据 Decrypt 报道，灰度 XRP ETF 申请与上周其他四份 Solana ETF 申请一同录入美国证券交易委员会（SEC）联邦登记册，VanEck、21Shares、Bitwise 及 Canary Capital 的 Solana ETF 申请已于 2 月 18 日提交。申请录入后触发 21 天公众评议期，监管机构预计于 10 月 18 日前决定批准、拒绝或进一步审查。若获批，XRP ETF 将为用户提供受监管的 XRP 投资敞口工具。
XRP 过去 12 个月涨幅超 381%，当前因法律与监管改善而备受关注，近期复苏的驱动力包括：美国银行可能将其用于内部交易的传闻，及 SEC 对 Ripple 长期诉讼立场的猜测。SEC 曾于 2020 年 12 月起诉 Ripple，指控其通过未注册的 XRP 销售筹集 13 亿美元，并依据豪威测试将其归类为证券。B2BINPAY CEO Arthur Azizov 表示：“XRP ETF 极可能年内推出，具体时间取决于与 SEC 法律纠纷的解决速度。”
