Singapore Airlines' Attributable Profit Surges in Fiscal Q3

Singapore Airlines' (SGX:C6L) attributable profit to owners of the company surged during the fiscal quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024 to SG$1.63 billion from SG$658.7 million a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.

Earnings per share rose to SG$0.518 compared with SG$0.156 in the comparable period.

Total revenue increased year over year to SG$5.22 billion from SG$5.08 billion, driven by a rise in passenger and cargo revenue.

As of Dec. 31, 2024, the group's operating fleet comprised 207 passenger and freighter aircraft.

Cargo network reached 37 countries and territories during the period.

Shares of the airline operator were up nearly 2% in recent trading.
