智通财经APP获悉，据报道，谷歌(GOOGL.US)旗下YouTube正计划推出其付费视频服务的新低价套餐。该服务将面向那些主要希望观看非音乐视频节目的观众。
报道援引知情人士消息称，YouTube的“Premium Lite”套餐很快将在美国、澳大利亚、德国和泰国推出。
YouTube的一位发言人表示：“作为我们为用户提供更多选择和灵活性的承诺的一部分，我们已经在多个市场测试了一种新的YouTube Premium服务，该服务提供大部分视频的无广告观看体验。我们希望在合作伙伴的支持下，未来将这一服务扩展到更多用户。”
此前有报道称，Premium Lite套餐已在海外市场测试数月。预计该套餐将正式更广泛地推出，包括首次在美国推出。
