Chinese artificial intelligence startup DeepSeek is looking to raise external funds for the first time, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing tech news site The Information.
Alibaba (HKG:9988) and Chinese state-owned funds China Investment Corp and the National Social Security Fund have shown interest in DeepSeek's funding round, the report said, citing persons with knowledge of internal discussions.
