Meta Platforms (META) is reducing equity-based compensation by about 10% for most employees this year while continuing to invest in artificial intelligence projects, The Financial Times reported Thursday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Meta employees typically receive equity refreshers on top of their base salaries and annual bonuses, according to the report. This year's adjustments may vary based on location and job level, FT added.
Meta did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
