Baker Hughes is parting ways with its top finance executive, Nancy Buese, and has elevated Ahmed Moghal to executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Baker Hughes on Monday said Buese, who joined the Houston oilfield-services company as finance chief in November 2022, is leaving by mutual agreement and will receive severance benefits associated with a termination without cause, including a lump-sum cash payment of a year's base salary.
Moghal, 43 years old, has been senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company's industrial and energy technology business since 2023.
Baker Hughes said Moghal will receive a base salary of $750,000 and an annual bonus with a target of 100% of his base pay.
The company said Buese, who earned a 2023 base salary of $950,000, will serve as a strategic adviser before leaving at the end of April.
