汇丰环球研究报告指，新世界(00017.HK) 在上周收市后发盈警，预计上半财年亏损66亿至68亿元，扭转对上年度同期盈利。核心经营溢利料按年跌15%至19%。该行指，纵使近日有再融资活动的新闻，投资者或更关注公司财务健康。若要重建投资者信心，需要实质及整体的去杠杆计划以改善财政状况。
该行指，公司在本港的物业销售大致稳定，北角皇都项目388个单位推售一周内售出逾65%，总销售29亿元，为新世界贡献19亿元销售。但物销售相对公司借贷规模微不足道。公司计划未来数月推出3项住宅项目，包括占四成权益的衙前塱道项目，以及各占一半权益的南岸五期与柏蔚森货尾。
