Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) said Monday it jointly filed an emergency motion with its partner Rumble (RUM) in US federal court to stop a Brazilian judge's suspension of Rumble in Brazil.
Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered Rumble last week to censor the accounts of a Brazilian journalist living in the US, Trump Media said.
Rumble refused to comply and joined Trump Media in filing a lawsuit to have the gag orders deemed unenforceable in the US, Trump Media said.
Trump Media said that the two companies have filed a motion for an ex parte temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against Moraes in response to the judge's order to suspend Rumble in Brazil.
Trump Media's online platform Truth Social is partly powered by Rumble servers, according to Trump Media.
