PI Industries (NSE:PIIND, BOM: 523642)has formed a strategic partnership with the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms, an initiative of the Department of Biotechnology of India's Ministry of Science and Technology, according to an Indian bourse filing on Saturday.
The collaboration includes the exclusive transfer of two biocontrol technologies, AphidControl and XanthoControl, aimed at addressing pest and disease management challenges in agriculture. AphidControl targets aphids, which cause significant crop damage, while XanthoControl focuses on Xanthomonas species, PI Industries said in the release.
