BUZZ-Bath & Body Works rises after Barclays upgrades to 'equal weight'

** Bath & Body Works BBWI.N shares up 1.7% at $39.2 premarket

** Brokerage Barclays upgrades co to "equal weight" from "underweight", raises PT to $43 from $34

** New product releases including the most recent Disney Princess collaboration, as well as continued expansion of men's, hair care, laundry, fragrance and pet appear to reduce the need for promotional activity - brokerage

** Adds that based on its checks on promotional activity and third-quarter results reported in November, both sales and margin prospects have improved

** Says BBWI has low exposure to import tariffs as most of R&D, production, manufacturing and packaging is in U.S.

** Thirteen of 19 brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher, six "hold"; their median PT is $45

** BBWI stock fell 10% in 2024
