星巴克咖啡连锁店首席执行官布莱恩-尼科尔周一表示，星巴克将裁撤 1100 名企业员工，且数百个其他空缺职位将不再招聘。此次裁员不会影响公司门店的员工。

　　在给企业员工的通知中，尼科尔表示，星巴克正在 “简化我们的架构，减少层级和重复设置，打造规模更小、更灵活的团队”。

　　尼科尔写道：“我们的目的是更高效地运营，增强问责制，降低复杂性，推动更好的融合。所有这些的目标是更加专注，并能够对我们的优先事项产生更大影响。”

　　此次裁员之际，星巴克正试图在同店销售额连续四个季度下滑后，重新吸引咖啡消费者回到其门店。由于在美国和中国这两个最大市场中，顾客转向了价格更低的竞争对手，自去年尼科尔执掌公司以来，他一直在努力改革运营，包括加快服务速度。

　　截至去年，星巴克约有 16000 名非门店员工。此次裁员将影响企业支持部门的员工，但不涉及烘焙、制造、仓储和配送部门的员工。
