Consumers believe it is important that companies carefully select influencer partners whose values align with their brands and target audience, driving positive engagement and contributing to the success of a campaign, according to the survey. Around a quarter of fashion and beauty buyers trust recommendations from micro-influencers, who have a smaller and more targeted audiences, as they build connections within niche communities, the survey showed.
