Stanmore Resources (ASX:SMR) reported Monday 2024 diluted earnings of $0.212 per share, down from $0.524 per share a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected $0.216 per share.
Revenue from ordinary activities for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was $2.4 billion, down from $2.8 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected $2.43 billion.
Total income was $2.5 billion, compared with $2.8 billion a year earlier.
Saleable coal production for the period rose to 13.8 million tonnes from 13.2 million tonnes a year earlier, exceeding the guidance of 12.8 million tonnes to 13.6 million tonnes.
For 2025, production is forecast in the range of 13.8 million tonnes to 14.4 million tonnes.
The board declared a dividend of $0.067 per share, down from $0.1288 in the previously reported period, payable on March 13 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 28.
