路透布鲁塞尔2月23日 - 美国众议院司法委员会主席Jim Jordan周日要求欧盟反垄断执行副主席里贝拉(Teresa Ribera)说明她如何执行欧盟约束大科技公司的规则，称这些规则似乎是针对美国公司的。
两天前，美国总统特朗普签署了一份备忘录，警告说他的政府将仔细审查欧盟的“数字市场法案”$(DMA)$和“数字服务法案”(DSA)，称"它们规定了美国公司如何与欧盟消费者互动"。
数字市场法案为 Alphabet GOOGL.O 、亚马逊 AMZN.O 、苹果 AAPL.O 、Booking.com BKNG.O 、字节跳动(ByteDance)、Meta Platforms META.O 、微软 MSFT.O 列出了一系列"该做"和"不该做"的规定，旨在确保公平竞争，为消费者提供更多选择。
路透看到的Jordan周日给里贝拉的信中写道："我们写这封信是为了表达担忧，DMA 可能针对美国公司。"Jordan说，这些规则使公司面临繁琐的监管，并给欧洲公司带来了优势。
美国行政国家、监管改革和反垄断小组委员会主席Scott Fitzgerald是这封信的共同签署人之一。
他们还抨击了DMA的规定，称其中一些可能对中国有利。
信中说："DMA的规定扼杀了创新，阻碍了研发，并将大量极具价值的专有数据拱手让给了公司和敌对国家。"
两人敦促里贝拉在 3 月 10 日之前向司法委员会说明情况。
