Alpha Tau Medical (DRTS) said Monday it received Medical Device Single Audit Program, or MDSAP, certification for its Jerusalem manufacturing facility.
MDSAP certification is recognized by regulatory authorities in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, and the US, allowing medical device makers to meet international requirements through a single audit, the company said.
This certification can potentially support the company's plans to shorten the commercialization duration in participating markets for its alpha-radiation cancer therapy Alpha DaRT, it added.
Shares of Alpha Tau Medical were up nearly 1% in recent trading.
