Japan Excellent Net Income Falls 11% Between H1, H2 2024

Japan Excellent (TYO:8987) reported a nearly 11% decline in net income between the first half and the second half of 2024 to 3.74 billion yen from 4.20 billion yen.

The company's earnings per unit (EPU) fell to 2,770 yen in H2 from 2,862 yen in H1, according to a stock exchange filing last Friday.

Total revenue increased more than 11% on a seasonally adjusted basis to 12.8 billion yen from 11.46 billion yen in the previous period.

For the fiscal period ending June 30, the company expects net income to grow to 4.32 billion yen or 3,000 yen per unit, while net sales are expected to decline 10.92% to 11.36 billion yen.

It declared a dividend of 2,770 yen per unit, payable.

The company expects to pay 3,000 yen per unit for the period ending June 30, and 2,800 yen per unit for the period ending Dec 31, 2025.
