Huaneng Power Issues 2 Billion Yuan Bonds

Huaneng Power International (HKG:0902) completed the issuance of 2 billion yuan worth of bonds under its 130 billion yuan debt program, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The debt securities have a maturity period of three years and a 1.8% interest rate.

Proceeds will be used for working capital needs and debt payments.

China Merchants Bank, Bank of China, China Everbright Bank, Bank of Ningbo, and Bank of Hangzhou acted as the lead underwriters.
