消息面上，据新华财经消息，刚果（金）有关部门2月24日宣布，该国决定暂停钴出口四个月，以应对全球钴市场供应过剩的局面，这项措施自2月22日生效。据悉，刚果（金）是全球钴矿资源最丰富的国家，其钴储量和产量均占据全球七成以上的份额。中信证券认为，如果刚果（金）的钴出口禁令严格实施，全球钴市场在短期内或将转为短缺，钴价有望企稳反弹。
据悉，金川国际及其附属公司主要从事于刚果（金）及赞比亚开采有色金属，主要为铜及钴；及于香港进行矿产品及金属产品贸易。铜钴价格变动是影响公司业绩的主要因素。中邮证券此前指，根据相关报道，Musonoi矿山投产后可带来3.8 万吨铜产量和0.78 万吨钴产能，是公司未来主要增长动力。
