吴说获悉，据《联合早报》报道，新加坡美罗百货商店（Metro Departmental Store）宣布接受稳定币付款，成为本地首家支持该支付方式的百货商店。顾客可在美罗实体店及线上购物使用 USDT、USDC 和 WUSD 付款，未来不久还将支持 FDUSD。美罗与加密支付公司 dtcpay 合作，首席运营官欧文表示，此举旨在引领零售业数码转型，满足科技化购物需求。据 Chainalysis 数据，2024 年第二季度新加坡稳定币支付额近 10 亿元，显示市场对稳定数码支付的强劲需求。
