International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) said Tuesday it plans to expand its Cedar Rapids facility in Iowa with a $70 million investment to produce fruit-based ingredients for snack manufacturers,
The company said it expects to begin operations in H2 2026 and add up to 40 jobs.
With a 47,000-square-foot expansion, the facility will manufacture its Taura brand ingredients, International Flavors & Fragrances said, adding that this will be its first US site dedicated to these ingredients, which are currently made in Belgium and New Zealand.
