International Business Machines (IBM) said Tuesday it intends to acquire artificial intelligence and data solution provider DataStax.
Financial terms of the transaction weren't provided.
IBM said the acquisition of the Santa Clara, California-based company would deepen its watsonx capabilities and address generative AI data needs for enterprises.
The transaction is anticipated to close in Q2 of 2025, IBM said.
