0112 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index falls 0.3% to 3904.74, tracking overnight losses across most U.S. equity markets. The main theme has been cautiousness, Commerzbank Research analysts say in a research report. The U.S. Conference Board's index of consumer sentiment released Tuesday fell sharply in February, owing to concerns over the broader U.S. economy, the analysts note. Among the worst performers on the benchmark index, OCBC falls 1.9%, CapitaLand Investment drops 2.4% and Sembcorp Industries is 1.9% lower. Meanwhile, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding rises 1.5% and Frasers Centrepoint Trust adds 1.0%. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
