China Evergrande NEV's Swedish Subsidiary Sells 20% Shares in Owner of Former Production Site; Shares Fall 3%

China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle (HKG:0708) indirect wholly-owned subsidiary National Electric Vehicle Sweden sold 20% of the shares of AB Trollhättan Propellern 13 for 60 million Swedish kronor, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

AB Trollhättan Propellern 13 is an investment holding company that owns the former production site of National Electric Vehicle Sweden.

National Electric Vehicle Sweden also sold promissory notes to A Steiner Invest and Dana Invest worth an aggregate principal amount of 60 million kronor for an aggregate consideration of 30 million kronor, the filing said.

The promissory notes were issued to satisfy part of the 240 million kronor consideration payable by Logistikfastigheter i Trollhättan for the purchase of 80% shares of Trollhättan Propellern, the filing said.

Shares in Evergrande NEV fell 3% during Tuesday's late morning trading.
