保监局早前宣布将于今年首季与金管局就指数型万用寿险(IUL)发布监管指引，保诚(02378.HK) 首席产品管理总监冯伟成对此表示欢迎，认为可为业界带来更多竞争及新思维，目前保诚正积极研究，惟产品细节现阶段未能透露。
他又指，见到客户对医疗保险仍有不少需求，接下来将加强产品设计及推出更多新医疗产品，公司不会针对单一市场或客群发展，认为内地访港旅客及本地客户是增长“双头马车”，有信心未来各业务发展步伐趋向稳健。
被问到医疗成本上升会否引致保费调整幅度扩大，保诚首席客户及市场拓展总监蔡明雄指出，成本上升是不争事实，但强调保诚拥有较大的网络规模及完善理赔机制，预期有助控制成本。(gc/da)
