First Solar (FSLR) reported Q4 earnings late Tuesday of $3.65 per diluted share, up from $3.25 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $4.57.
Net sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 were $1.51 billion, up from $1.16 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.48 billion.
The company said it expects 2025 net sales between $5.3 billion and $5.8 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $5.51 billion.
First Solar also expects 2025 diluted EPS of between $17 and $20. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $20.97.
Shares of First Solar were down about 1% in after-hours activity.
