The largest U.S. solar company posted revenue of $1.51 billion in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.47 billion.
First Solar expects full-year earnings to be $17 to $20 per share, with revenue in the range of $5.3 billion to $5.8 billion.
