FBR (ASX:FBR) demonstrated its dynamic stabilization technology to Samsung Heavy Industries on Monday, in their ongoing collaboration to explore automation in the shipbuilding industry, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Following a technical and engineering study, FBR adapted its Hadrian robot for the demonstration, showcasing potential automation solutions for Samsung Heavy Industries' manufacturing operations, the filing said.
Samsung Heavy Industries is now in discussions with FBR for a joint development agreement to prototype automated solutions, the filing added.
Shares of FBR rose 10% at market close.
