美国银行看到自年初以来投资者活动放缓，因客户对美国总统唐纳德·特朗普政府所采取行动的走向越来越不确定。

　　该公司全球市场部门负责人Jim DeMare警告称，随着市场试图评估新政府的初步行动、尤其是拟议中的关税可能对资产价格产生的影响，不确定性大大增加。

　　“客户如今的交易量比年初时和去年第四季度结束时少了一点，”DeMare在接受采访时表示。“我想说的是，人们在等待获得更多信息以便进一步调整他们的投资组合。”

　　美国银行近年来一直在为其交易业务提供更多资金和资产负债表资源支持，帮助其与竞争对手争夺市场份额。该公司还赋予了DeMare额外的责任，于12月让他负责该行的研究业务。

　　DeMare表示，尽管一些客户活动放缓，但对其公司交易员来说，这可能是一个“不错的季度”。该集团去年实现了创纪录的收入。

　　DeMare是在该行在迪拜举行的投资者峰会间隙发表上述讲话的。他说，海湾国家前景良好，该地区对投资持开放态度。

　　“每当你在一个地区投资时，你都想知道你的利益与政府的利益是否一致，”他说。“我认为他们这里一直非常透明，他们是亲商的，他们想要吸引资本，他们想要吸引人才，他们想要成为一个全球目的地，所以这对我们来说是一个好地方。”
