消息面上，据央视新闻报道，俄罗斯总统普京在2月24日表示，俄美两国的公司已经开始讨论合作项目，如果美国解除相关制裁，俄罗斯计划恢复对美出口铝制品，出口量为200万吨，这将有利于稳定该大宗商品的价格。
据SMM数据显示，2023年俄罗斯电解铝总产量约为406.2万吨，约占全球总供应量的5.6%左右，产量位居全球第三，除此之外，俄罗斯铝金属主要用于出口市场，是海外铝重要出口国家。俄铝是俄罗斯最大的铝冶炼供应商。
