American Tower Forecasts Profit Jump in 2025

American Tower is guiding for earnings to climb in 2025 as demand holds steady across its global platform.

The owner of cellphone towers said it expects $9.92 billion to $10.07 billion in total property revenue this year, up about half a percentage point from 2024. Analysts polled by FactSet are currently targeting $9.93 billion, near the low-end of the outlook.

American Tower is also expecting to make a profit of $2.96 billion to $3.05 billion, up by about a third from last year.

For the last three months of 2024, the real-estate investment trust posted a profit of $1.23 billion, compared with a loss of $61.2 million in the same quarter a year earlier.

Earnings came out to $2.62 a share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had been expecting $2.36 a share

Revenue rose 3.7% to $2.55 billion, above analyst projections for $2.51 billion, according to FactSet.
