Jabil (JBL) and robotics company Apptronik said Tuesday they are launching a pilot program and collaboration project to build Apollo humanoid robots and integrate them into some of Jabil's manufacturing operations.
The Jabil production lines where the robots will be integrated include those that build Apollo humanoid robots, the companies said.
Also, under the pilot program, new Apollo robots will use Jabil's factory environment for validation testing, the companies said.
Financial details weren't provided.
Jabil shares were rising 0.5% in recent trading.
