路透伊斯兰堡2月28日 - 巴基斯坦财政部周五表示，香港企业集团长江和记实业有限公司0001.HK的港口子公司计划投资 10 亿美元，用于巴基斯坦业务的升级改造。
"和记港口提出投资 10 亿美元的计划，打算升级现有码头，以提高运营效率、物流连通和自动化程度。
目前尚无有关拟议投资的时间表。
声明援引和记港口公司代表的话说，这项投资预计将在未来 25 年内通过特许权使用费、租金和税收收入，产生至少 40 亿美元的收入。
巴基斯坦财政和税收部长参议员 Muhammad Aurangzeb 与和记港口的高管在会晤后宣布了这一消息。
声明称，该公司在巴基斯坦运营两大码头长达 25 年之久，为政府贡献了超过 2,250 亿巴基斯坦卢比（约合 8.0501 亿美元）的收入。
本次投资将令和记实业在巴基斯坦南部城市卡拉奇运营的深水集装箱码头达到服务自动化，并改善道路和停车设施，以方便货物运输。
