Energy Shares End Lower -- Energy Roundup

Dow Jones
27 Feb

Energy company shares declined on a day when global oil prices fell.

Most big oil producers finished in the red, with notable declines for Valero Energy, Marathon Petroleum, ConocoPhillips and EOG Resources.

The equipment and services providers, such as Halliburton, Schlumberger and Baker Hughes, also lost ground.

Mizuho analyst Robert Yawger noted that the House budget passed Tuesday evening includes provisions for boosting energy production.
