据CNBC周四报道，MetaPlatforms(META)计划推出一款独立的MetaAI应用，可能会与OpenAI和Alphabet(GOOGL)旗下的Google产品展开竞争。
报道称，该应用预计将在第二季度发布，目前MetaAI已可通过网页浏览器访问，并集成于Meta旗下的Facebook、Instagram、WhatsApp和Messenger应用内。
对于相关置评请求，Meta尚未立即回应。
MetaCEO马克·扎克伯格在1月的财报电话会议上表示，MetaAI“将成为我们推出的最具变革性的产品之一”，预计今年用户规模可达10亿人。MetaCFOSusanLi在电话会议上表示，该AI助手的月活跃用户数已达到7亿。与此同时，Meta今年计划大幅加码AI领域，预计资本支出将在600亿至650亿美元之间，高于2024年的390亿美元。
此外，报道称，Meta可能会探索订阅模式，与OpenAI、埃隆·马斯克旗下的xAI等竞争对手类似，推出收费的高级版本。目前，OpenAI的ChatGPT、Anthropic的Claude、Google的Gemini、微软(MSFT.O)的Copilot和DeepSeek等AI应用均已推出独立版本。
周四美股常规交易时段，Meta股价下跌2%，但盘后交易微涨不到1%。截至周四收盘，该股年内涨幅约12%。
