Great Western Exploration (ASX:GTE) plans to resume drilling at its Oval copper-gold project in Western Australia to test one of two large, strong down-hole electromagnetic conductors defined in recent exploration 50 meters below a previously completed drill-hole, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The modelled conductors are interpreted to be highly prospective, based on their geophysical signatures.
The firm expects drilling on the Oval South, Sumo Niobium, and the Juggernaut copper-gold targets will also begin soon.
The mining firm's shares fell 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
