The US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has dropped a lawsuit against Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) subsidiary Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance.
The agency in January had accused the housing lender of allowing people to take on loans for manufactured homes that they could not afford to repay.
According to a legal filing, the agency issued a notice of voluntary dismissal for the lawsuit on Thursday.
