China Longyuan Power Issues 1.5 Billion Yuan Mid-Term Bonds

China Longyuan Power (HKG:0916, SHE:001289) completed the issuance of two tranches of mid-term bonds amounting to 1.5 billion yuan, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Monday.

The Type 1 bonds amounted to 1 billion yuan with a three-year term and a 1.92% coupon rate.

The Type 2 bonds were worth 500 million yuan with a five-year term and a coupon rate of 1.96%.

China Merchants Bank (HKG:3968, SHA:600036) was the lead underwriter for the offering of the bonds.

The Chinese wind power producer will use the proceeds from the offering to pay debt or supplement its working capital, the filing said.
