  尽管许多消费者在支出上更加谨慎,eBay仍在加大对人工智能的投资,以吸引顾客持续光顾。

  这家在线交易平台旨在改变商品浏览体验,努力让棒球卡和手工陶器这类商品看起来像是顾客的 “必买之物”。首席产品官Eddie Garcia表示,采取这些举措是因为其他零售商正越来越多地利用人工智能,为顾客带来更具娱乐性和个性化的浏览体验。

  eBay新增了一项生成式人工智能功能,卖家可以利用它编辑商品列表的背景使其更具吸引力。在时尚品类方面,eBay会根据顾客当前浏览的商品,为他们提供人工智能生成的图片,帮助找到可能与他们正在购买的衬衫搭配的裙子或鞋子。

  收藏品这类非季节性商品是eBay增长最快的部分,而且公司正加大投资,根据顾客已有的兴趣帮助他们发现新的产品和品类。
