消息面上，2月10日下午，重庆市国资委党委书记、主任曾菁华到重庆机电集团调研改革发展工作。他强调，要加快推进完成集团战略性重组和所属企业专业化整合，奋力打造深化国资国企改革标志性成果；要全力攻坚瘦身健体、止损治亏、资产盘活等改革任务，加快推进战略性重组专业化整合，确保3月底前改革攻坚任务基本完成。公开资料显示，港股上市公司重庆机电主要股东为重庆机电控股（集团）公司，实控人为重庆市国有资产监督管理委员会。
国泰君安发布研报称，受益国内AIDC及数据中心建设持续高景气，高端柴油发电机需求高增。该行指出，受益数据中心需求爆发，海外厂商如康明斯等电力系统业务收入和利润率持续高增。值得注意的是，重庆机电与康明斯的合作始于1981年。随着双方合作的不断深化，1995年10月，双方投资比例各50%，合资成立重庆康明斯发动机有限公司。目前，重庆康明斯已经成为国内领先的大马力发动机制造企业。
